Messier 13, also known as M13 or the Great Globular Cluster in Hercules, is a massive and bright globular star cluster located in the constellation of Hercules. It is estimated to be around 145 light-years in diameter. It contains hundreds of thousands of stars, making it one of the densest known star clusters in the Milky Way galaxy.

The cluster is located approximately 22,000 light-years away from Earth and is one of the brightest objects in the Hercules constellation. It is easily visible with binoculars or a small telescope, appearing as a fuzzy patch of light. With a larger telescope, individual stars can be resolved, revealing a stunning display of stars of various colors, ages, and sizes.
